A little Wassail History Lesson
Wassail is a traditional drink that is served warm or spiked apple cider punch. It is served a toast on Christmas or New Years – “to your health”.
But besides drinking it for your health, I just like to drink it when is it cold outside. This recipe excludes the “spiked” version. I will let you choose whether or not, you want a little something extra in your beverage. That was what I wanted to make.
Not only will it warm you up and it will also make your house smell amazing, too.
