Why You Will Love This Starbucks Copycat Recipe

Quick & Easy: All you need is about 5 minutes to blend one up!

Budget-Friendly: Everyone knows it’s nearly impossible to leave a Starbucks without spending at least $5, before tax and tip. Homemade frappuccinos admittedly require a bit of up-front investment—you’ll likely need to buy Oreos, chocolate coffee beans, and xanthan gum—but when you break it down per drink, homemade costs just a fraction of what Starbucks charges!

Ingredients Needed

Please note that a full list of ingredients and a printable version of this recipe is available below.

  • Chocolate cream-filled sandwich cookies – In other words, Oreos, America’s favorite chocolate sandwich cookie, are responsible for the yummy cookie crumbles.
  • Espresso – I use make and keep espresso in the fridge. This way, I had it ahead of time. Now, I love this hyper-chiller. I can make espresso hot to cold in 60 seconds. Check it out.
  • Milk – Whole milk is best for this recipe. However, if you can’t digest dairy like my daughter, I like to use extra creamy almond milk. It’s a great non-dairy option and makes the frappuccino much creamier.
  • Chocolate syrup – This is the primary source of chocolate flavor.
  • Chocolate, chopped or chips – And really, who wouldn’t want extra chocolate?
  • Ice – You can’t have a frozen frappé without a frozen element! If possible, start with filtered water; this way, you don’t end up with an extra mineral taste.
  • Whipped cream – Because what’s cookies and cream without plenty of cream?

How To Make This Starbucks Frappuccino
