Happy Thanksgiving – Being Grateful
Every Thanksgiving I always sit down and write a brief note about how thankful I am that you have found Inspiring Savings. This year will be no different. However, this year marks a wonderful anniversary for me.
Not only does November bring us ideas about how thankful we should be, but it is a reminder of God’s amazing handy work. Eight years ago in November, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Not only did I have my thyroid removed, but underwent high doses of radioactive treatment. This treatment was a struggle for me. I had to be away from my family for 7 days each time. They could not be within 20 feet of me.
We made it through. But my true testimony is this blog.
My site was started in the midst of my struggles. It has brought me more joy then you can imagine. My life’s passion is to help others. I became an RN in 2001 to do just that, but after having kids all I wanted to be home with them. In March of 2013, I quit my job thanks to couponing and was able to live out my dream. I am now blogging to help others save money.
I am so grateful for what he has provided my family. The life lesson, the struggles and while going through each I gave it all to him. He has rewarded me fully.
This year marks the Eight year anniversary of Inspiring Savings and being cancer-free. Thank you! Thank you! Jesus and thank you for all your support. Beyond just these words, God, YOU and my blog have provided with me MUCH joy!
2020 will bring with it many new adventures for my life. I am in the process of starting a new website that is faith-based to help encourage women (jenschreiner.com – still under construction) and I am writing my first book! All of it is so very exciting. I do hope that you follow me along. I know that God has great plans for not only my life but yours.
Wish you all a very Blessed Thanksgiving!
