ShopRite Will Stop Stacking Digital Coupons Starting 5/5
Some of you may have heard rumors of changes in ShopRite digital coupon policy. I can confirm that the rumors are, unfortunately, are true.
It has been confirmed that as of May 5th – ALL ShopRite Grocery stores, will no longer be allowing the stacking of ShopRite manufacture eCoupon with paper manufacturer coupons.
You see, the way ShopRite Digital eCoupons have always been marked as manufacturer coupons, but a coding “glitch” from the manufacturer allowed them NOT to communicate with paper manufacturer coupons.
We have all been enjoying this “glitch” in upstate New York for the past 5 years.
As of last week, ShopRite stores have all received memos on this new policy this past week. We will soon begin seeing signage at the register that will provide us with more information.
How ShopRite eCoupons Will Work Going Forward
Once you clipped, your ShopRite eCoupon will sit in your account. (Like it always has)
If at checkout you provide your cashier with a manufacturer coupon that is similar to the one clipped in your account, the higher value of the two will come off. No longer stacking.
It is nice to know that in your ShopRite eCoupon account if you feel insecure about the above process, you can always unclip a coupon before heading to the store.

Looks like this is my final shoprite shopping trip. This store used to be so beneficial for shopping for my large family. But now that our store doesn’t double coupons anymore and now this. Ugh. Looks like I’ll be on the hunt for a better grocery store. Shoprite prices without the coupons is just way too high where I live.

No more ShopRite for me. Walmart here I come.

I completely understand. It has been a difficult change. Personally, have only been to ShopRite once in the last month. Not the best deals anymore. Just really sad.
