Amazon Prime Members – Get READY for PRIME DAY!! – Plus Get a Free Membership
It’s Christmas in July for Amazon. Black Friday, the legendary shopping day that follows Thanksgiving, is more than four months way. But that hasn’t stopped Amazon from declaring a new sort of Black Friday. Rumor has it that Amazon Prime Day will be on October 13, 2020?
Prime Day was delayed, not canceled, like some had thought. It’s a switch from the July timeframe for Amazon’s annual sale. We are just happy to see the announcement. It is time to start thinking of those Christmas gifts.
Why will there be so many great deals on this shopaganza called “Prime Day.” This year could also see the longest Prime Day EVER with a record-setting 48 hours of deals (last year Prime Day was 36 hours long)!
Amazon is all about deliveries, so maybe you’re ready for some smart-home enhancements? You can see the best selling Amazon own-brand devices right now.

To buy now or to wait for Black Friday
This is going to be a tough call. Black Friday deals for Amazon are set to begin (rumor has it) at the end of October. With Prime day being so close to the begin Black Friday sales, we are hopeful that each will contain different types of saving opportunities. One this is for certain, Prime day is known for having the lowest prices on all Amazon branded products. So don’t delay on those deals. YES, you will see them running through out the Black Friday sale, but the lowest price points will be seen on October 13th.
One of my favorite sales the Fire TV Stick was on sale for just $14.99 during the 48-hour sale event, normally $49.99. That is a steal.
What to Expect on Prime Day
While we are not new to this rodeo, we can follow the trends from years past. We already know that the biggest discounts are likely to apply to Amazon’s own products and brands, including the full range of Echo speakers, Fire tablets and Fire TV streamers, Kindle readers, Blink cameras and so on. Amazon says to expect “the biggest Prime Day deals ever on Alexa-enabled devices.”
Electronic devices such as labtops, TVs, Fitbit devices, headphones, etc. So keep your eyes peeled. We won’t actually know everything that goes on sale (like a fun mystery package) until it is released to the public for sale.
Now is the time to make those purchases if you have been in the market for ANY Alexa-Enabled devices.
FREE Amazon Prime Membership
Amazon is also offering free 30-day Prime memberships for non-members who want to take advantage of the one-day deal. Amazon Prime normally costs $99 per year and includes free shipping. The company has been expanding its Prime service and recently started same-day shipping for members.
